In Him we have all we need for assurance, forgiveness, direction, wisdom and knowledge, freedom from sin and condemnation, headship or leadership, and knowledge of God and Godhood. All we need to know about God and about our destiny, and all we need to know about whether we are qualified to go to heaven, is all known and discovered in the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Him.<\/p>\n<p>If someone comes along with a new and different message, we can check it by the scriptures provided through Christ. New messages through new claims should not deceive us. Christ&#8217;s message is complete (II Timothy 3:16-17). He did not leave anything out for a prophet to come along (think Muhammed or Joseph Smith) and pretend that something was missing or left out.<\/p>\n<p>You are complete in Him (Jesus). Nothing was left out. If it came along later, we do not need it. If the first-century Christians were provided with everything that pertained to life and godliness (II Peter 1:3-5), then those resources were never removed and never needed help. In other words, it is <b>all <\/b>in the Scriptures that came to us from Christ, and we are <b>still <\/b>&#8220;<em>complete in Him<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Get in that treasure chest of wisdom and knowledge and discover the jewels and pearls of truth already there (Colossians 2:2-3).
