Acts 25 has Paul exercising his right as a Roman citizen to appeal to Caesar, which may be a reminder that it’s not wrong to stand for one’s rights. However, he didn’t do it in a way that would bring criticism on the cause of Christ or his own personal integrity. That’s a lesson in itself.<\/p>\n
Additionally, while Paul may have been concerned about his own fair treatment, God was fulfilling His promise that the apostle would stand before kings (Acts 9:15) and ultimately arrive in Rome (Acts 23:11).<\/p>\n
What a faithful God He is!<\/p>\n
“If, then, I am a wrongdoer and have committed anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die; but if none of those things is true of which these men accuse me, no one can hand me over to them.
