The term “prince” refers to angels who deal with particular nations. Daniel had been asking for understanding, and an angel was sent to explain things to him. However, in the journey, another angel, one who dealt with Persia, prevented the angel from completing his task. It was only through the intervention of Michael, an archangel assigned to Israel, that the interference was ended.<\/p>\n
No one delayed God’s response. Someone delayed the messenger carrying God’s response. We know that there are fallen angels, and there are hints that battles occur between these angels and the righteous angels.<\/p>\n
