I have a long way to go.<\/p>\n
Often, I am tempted and lulled into thinking that I am doing well in my attempts to be like Jesus. I pat myself on the back and congratulate myself on how far I have come. Then someone comes along and highlights an aspect of Jesus’s character that I have not considered, and it puts everything into sharp relief.<\/p>\n
“Jesus loved in a way that no one knew it was Judas. He was welcomed at dinner, had his feet washed, and when Jesus said that his betrayer was at the table, no one knew it was Judas because Jesus treated him like any other.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
