I wanted to send a quick word of thanks to you for your website. Over the past few years, two conservative churches of Christ I attended have progressively moved toward using their buildings for social activities, food pantries, etc. In both cases, it resulted in splitting the congregation. As I searched for information to support my conservative view on this matter, I found your website and have continually returned to it due to its wealth of information and straightforward, common-sense approach to the Scriptures. I especially like the statements on your “Who We Are” page, along with the supporting scriptures, as I have not found a clearer explanation anywhere of why the church shouldn’t engage in social, civic, political, and welfare-related activities.<\/p>\n
Again, I just wanted to express my gratitude for holding firmly to the truth and maintaining this website that is so helpful to people … even 1200 miles away!<\/p>\n
