There’s an interesting incident in Exodus 35: Everyone with something to contribute to the Tabernacle gave what they had. Whether it was cloth, wood, stone, spices, oil, or gold, Scripture repeatedly says, “They brought it<\/em>.” In fact, they brought so much that they had more than enough to do God’s work, and Moses had to say, “OK, stop! We’ve got enough!”<\/p>\n Surely, we can see that the idea of bare, minimum, grudging service to God is not <\/b>a sign of a devoted disciple, right? Are you bringing more than enough?<\/p>\n “Give, and it will be given back to you; a good measure —\u00a0 pressed down, shaken together, and running over — will be poured into your lap.
