It needles you, pokes you, deflates you, and distracts you. It causes more questions than answers because you spend more time discouraged about the obstacle than looking for a solution around it. It makes you expend wheel-spinning energy that, in the end, makes no progress. Then, it makes you want to give up.<\/p>\n
Worry doesn’t work because worry accomplishes nothing.<\/p>\n
It’s not that you shouldn’t be concerned or actively engaged even with your responsibilities. No. What worry does is dismiss God’s presence and, therefore, His path and peace. Anxiety subtly subtracts God from the equation and paints a dark future with no solution.<\/p>\n
Jesus promised that God will supply your needs because “your heavenly Father knows you need all these things<\/em>” (Matthew 6:32). Your necessities are taken care of. Free from having to worry over material things, you can concentrate on what is of lasting importance.<\/p>\n If you woke up in the choking grip of anxiety today, remember that you have a choice: You can let it spiral out of control, or you can diligently cultivate your relationship with your Father, who can help ease the fear and instill confidence.<\/p>\n “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself.
