Is it a sin to let the woman who wears a covering to work in a store where they sell beer or things of the sort? I need to know if I am sinning if I do not wear a covering. It is hard to understand.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. &#8230; Judge among yourselves. Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?<\/em>&#8221; (I Corinthians 11:5, 13).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The only discussion of wearing a covering is found in I Corinthians 11:1-16 and the context is clear that it is dealing with times of praying and prophesying. There is no passage requiring women to wear a covering at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Whether it is right to work in a store where products are being sold for sinful use, such as alcohol for people to drink and possibly get drunk, is completely independent of whether a woman chooses to wear a head covering. For the latter you should consider this passage, &#8220;<em>And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death,&nbsp;<strong>not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; (Romans 1:28-32).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question: What about women who wear covering among the regular population?
