Before we post or share something, let us ask:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Does it show that we are striving to build up the people of God? (Ephesians 4:28)<\/li>\n
  2. Will it help promote unity or will it cause unnecessary division? (I Corinthians 12:25)<\/li>\n
  3. Does it show love for one another, love for enemies, and mostly love for God? (Matthew 5:44-45; Romans 13:8-10; I Corinthians 13:4-8)<\/li>\n
  4. Is it true? Have we made sure? If so, what will sharing it accomplish? What is the purpose? Or is it more like gossip and hearsay? (Romans 1:18; Proverbs 11:13)<\/li>\n
  5. Does it promote thinking on things excellent and worthy of praise? (Philippians 4:8)<\/li>\n
  6. If it deals with something wrong or sinful, does it include a godly solution? (II Timothy 2:24-26)<\/li>\n
  7. Does it display godly wisdom? (James 3:13-18)<\/li>\n
  8. Does it reflect speech seasoned with grace? (Colossians 4:4-6)<\/li>\n
  9. Does it show concern for drawing people closer to God and saving souls? Does it honor and respect all people as made in God’s image? (Matthew 22:36-40; I Corinthians 9:22-23)<\/li>\n
  10. Even with something that is humorous (and we should have a good sense of humor), is it in good taste? Does its humor come at the expense of tearing down another person? (Romans 13:10)<\/li>\n
  11. Does it avoid murmuring and complaining so that we can be lights in the world? (Philippians 2:14-16)<\/li>\n
  12. Does it boast in self or does it glorify God? (I Corinthians 1:28-31)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
