Well, I prayed that God would make it clear to me whether the Bible is His complete revelation or if the Book of Mormon is indeed &#8220;another Testament of Jesus Christ&#8221; as they claim, and here is what the Spirit told me:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Spirit said clearly that the eye-witness apostles of Jesus were to be guided into <b>all <\/b>truth (John 16:13), and the Spirit said that they preached &#8220;<em>the <strong>whole<\/strong> counsel of God<\/em>&#8221; (Acts 20:27).<\/li>\n<li>The Spirit told me that if any man or angel preaches\u00a0<strong>any other<\/strong> gospel than those apostles preached (Galatians 1:6-10), &#8220;<em>let him be accursed<\/em>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>The Spirit told me to &#8220;<em>test all things<\/em>&#8221; (I Thessalonians 5:21) and told me to &#8220;<em>try the spirits because many false prophets have gone out into the world<\/em>&#8221; (I John 4:1f).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Spirit led me to these conclusions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The truth was complete in the first century,<\/li>\n<li>nothing pertaining to the Book of Mormon was given to the apostles, and therefore, they said nothing about it;<\/li>\n<li>people of all nations were saved without the Book of Mormon for centuries;<\/li>\n<li>the whole counsel of God was without the Book of Mormon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Thus, the Spirit told me to let those who peddle the Book of Mormon be accursed.<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit also told me to &#8220;<em>mark those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned<\/em> <em>and avoid them<\/em>&#8221; (Romans 16:17). Nobody learned the Book of Mormon in the first century.<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit also told me that &#8220;<em>whoever goes onward and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ<\/em> <em>does not have God<\/em>&#8221; (II John 9-10). The doctrine of Christ did not include the Book of Mormon.<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit told me to love and care for people who have been deceived but not to encourage them to continue in their error and deception (Jude 22-23) and, if possible, try to snatch them out of the fire. But the Spirit also told me that I can&#8217;t save everyone because some are like swine who have no appreciation for truth, and you might be wasting time with some, and that would be like &#8220;<em>casting pearls before swine<\/em>&#8221; (Matthew 7:6).<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit told me to recognize that some people are not conditioned to be honest with the word, and they &#8220;<em>handle the word deceitfully<\/em>&#8221; (II Corinthians 4:2-4) and that Satan has blinded people. Sometimes, you cannot persuade them to believe the truth because they prefer a &#8220;<em>strong delusion<\/em>&#8221; over the truth (II Thessalonians 2:11-12).<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit told me that many will say &#8220;God told me&#8221; when He had not (Ezekiel 13:7) and that they speak from their own hearts&#8217; vain imaginations.<\/p>\n<p>So, the Spirit told me to search the Scriptures to find out what is so (Acts 17:11) and test all things by the complete Scriptures (II Tim.3:16,17) that were &#8220;<em>once for all delivered to the saints<\/em>&#8221; (Jude 3-4) in the first century.
