Do you honestly think that man is God’s most powerful creation? Just take a look at everything happening to man today, all the floods, all the storms; just imagine a brownish-black cloud consuming the visible sky and you will realize that man is not in control, that we are not superior. Moreover, you will realize that our little time of “dominion” has come to an end. You know exactly what I’m talking about. Our crimes have consumed us. In the end times, obviously, our rule will be replaced by the rule of the Lord.<\/p>\n\t
“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”<\/em>” (Genesis 1:28).
\n“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen – even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas<\/em>” (Psalm 8:4-8).\n“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S; but the earth He has given to the children of men<\/em>” (Psalm 115:16).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Jesus currently rules:<\/h3>\n
“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death<\/em>” (1 Corinthians 15:20-26).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
When the end comes, this world and everything in it will cease to exist:<\/h3>\n
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
