Are you concerned about the direction of this country? Then, be concerned about the direction of your family. Too many patriots are more concerned about their Second Amendment rights than they are about dwelling with their wives in an understanding way (1 Peter 3:7). Many conservatives have strong opinions about the evil of abortion, but they are not bringing their children up in the training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). So many are concerned about illegal immigration, but they have no adequate defense against what comes into their homes through the internet and media. We need to spend far less time listening to talk radio and way more time listening to God.<\/p>\n
I am not saying that any of these are mutually exclusive, but I am not impressed by red, white, and blue political junkies whose marriages and families are not bringing glory to God. If you want to be a real patriot, be one for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!<\/p>\n
