God is the one who is reliable and when He forgives, it is the right thing to be done. Either you believe God or you end up calling Him a liar.<\/p>\nWhat you and your wife did was wrong, but you corrected your mistake. Being a Christian is filled with feelings, but your feelings don’t define your righteousness. Feelings can be wrong (Proverbs 28:26). You know you are following God by comparing your life to what God teaches (I John 2:3-6).<\/p>\n\t
