If a person realizes that fornication is sinful, then why is he still keeping himself in a situation where it would be tempting to continue the sin? See:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavistachurchofchrist.org\/cms\/is-living-together-but-not-sleeping-together-a-sin\/\">Is living together, but not sleeping together, a sin?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Baptism is based on repentance &#8212; a change in behavior and a change in attitude toward sin (Acts 2:38). Where is there evidence that such a change took place? If someone repented of stealing but you find out that he still enters uninvited into places of business in the middle of the night, would you assume he has changed?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m left wondering why the couple doesn&#8217;t simply get married?
