Have you ever asked yourself this question? We all assume that our faith is in God, but it may not be so! Paul said that when he came to Corinth he was careful to preach God’s word in a plain and simple manner so the faith of the Corinthians would stand in God (I Corinthians 2:1-5) and in His power rather than in man. Faith in God comes from hearing what God has said (Romans 10:17).<\/p>\n
If you cannot find what you believe in the New Testament then it is not of God! It is in whoever it was that taught you those things you believe. Such faith is of no eternal benefit. It is important for us to study God’s word carefully and regularly so we can be fully assured that our faith is <\/b>in God and His power rather than in man and his wisdom. Only God can save.
