This is a popular way to describe today’s “modern” woman. How have “fierce and independent” men affected society through the centuries? Historically, “fierce and independent” men have caused much suffering. Is that what women really need?<\/p>\n
The Bible uses another term to describe the ideal spirit for women – “gentle and quiet<\/em>” (I Peter 3:4). Other passages use those identical words to describe the ideal spirit for men as well.
