You are contemplating committing adultery. This is not from God. “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone” (James 1:13). Stop calling your emotions a leading from God because they are nothing but your worldly desires.

It is not at all surprising that he claims that he feels the same thing. He is wanting to commit adultery by leaving his wife. Such a man would say just about anything if it means being able to have sex.

Even if he divorced his wife, you could not rightly marry him. “Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery” (Luke 16:18).

Question: Could a man who is married be the husband God sent to me?
