What does it mean that those who have faith believe that God rewards those who seek Him?<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him<\/em>&#8221; (Hebrews 11:6).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Faith is what you trust. See:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavistachurchofchrist.org\/cms\/does-belief-include-anything-more-than-trust\/\">Would you define belief?<\/a>\u00a0for a detailed discussion of this. But what Hebrews 11:6 is focused on is that to please God &#8212; to be saved &#8212; there are two fundamental things that must be believed. Without them, reaching for the salvation that God offers would not even be attempted.<\/p>\n<p>First, there has to be a trust that God actually exists. If you don&#8217;t believe that God is there, then why would you ever work at trying to please Him if he is an imaginary character?<\/p>\n<p>The second thing that must be believed is that God rewards those who seek after Him.
