I have a girlfriend who lives some distance from me. She goes to a non-denominational church and I go to a church of Christ. I’m going to try to convert her and hopefully her family too to a church of Christ. We live several hours apart, but we are super close to each other.<\/p>\n
My question is: Would it be a bad idea to move to her house with her parents but stay in a separate bedroom, so I can go to school there?<\/p>\n

Yes, it would be a bad idea. Even though you will be with other people in the house, there will be too many times you’ll be alone with her. The intimacy of living in the same place will just increase the temptation to act out sexually. If you want to be closer to her, get a small apartment in the same town so you can visit frequently, but you are still going home at night.<\/p>\n
Instead of looking at this as converting someone to the church of Christ, which ultimately sees the church as another denomination, think of the fact that you are trying to teach the truths found in the Scriptures.
