I met this lady, several years ago. I loved her so much. I told her and we became friends. Later she dropped me and went with another person she loved, though she didn’t tell me. I still loved her so much that we got back together and this same incident happened again. She did the same thing, leaving and coming back to me, but this time she came back pregnant with a baby by the other man. She tells me that she loves me. She tries to tell me she has changed. She wants me to accept her past because I also have a bad past. But I can’t get this out of my mind easily. Whenever I see a pregnant woman or a woman with a baby, I feel the pain that the woman I have is having a baby with another man. I will face this my whole life with her because we are now together as friends, and we may get married someday.<\/p>\n\t
People rarely change unless there is a strong reason. Your girlfriend has proven twice that she cannot stay with one man. If you marry her, there will always be the doubt that she will run off with another man for a while.<\/p>\n
What she is doing is using you as a safety net. She goes out and has her fun, knowing that she can always come back to you when things stop being so fun. This is not the type of woman I would recommend for any man to marry.<\/p>\n
Find yourself a good stable woman who believes in the sanctity of marriage. Who insists on waiting until after marriage to have children. Who honors God with her whole being.<\/p>\n
Perhaps you did have a bad past, but I’m assuming you have left your past behind. This woman is still living her sinful life.<\/p>\n
“My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways. For a harlot is a deep pit, and a seductress is a narrow well. She also lies in wait as for a victim, and increases the unfaithful among men<\/em>” (Proverbs 23:26-28).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t
