I was a backslider for about two years. While in that state I was ready to marry, but I didn’t have any girl to marry. Then I was introduced to a girl by my sister. She is my sister’s friend and they work in the same company. We dated for several months. Because we loved each other, we had sex twice. From that time we agreed to get married in several months. My parents and her parents met together and we had our engagement.<\/p>\n
However, I begin to feel the presence of God calling me back to the field to come back home through His word. I and my fianc\u00e9e began a 40-day prayer and fast. My prayer was for God’s mercy and restoration and successful marriage. Since then I’ve rededicated my life back to God and my life never remains the same.<\/p>\n
Now my question is: I am in a faraway state from the state where my wife to be is living. She is coming to my house for a visit regarding our marriage plans. In this case, I am a bit confused. In the book of Hebrews 13:4, as both of us are getting married, if we have sex again at this time, will God judge or reject me because of it?<\/p>\n\t
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God<\/em>” (I Corinthians 6:9-10).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
What I notice is that despite your claims of feeling God’s presence and being rededicated to God, you are contemplating repeating your sins. If you are truly repentant, should you not be thinking about how to arrange things so that the sin doesn’t have a chance to happen again?<\/p>\n
