How can I truly seek God in a world full of evil and darkness? What will happen when I find Him? What will I feel?<\/p>\n\t
This world has always been full of evil. Today is no different than the past. “Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world,\u00a0<\/em>holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain<\/em>” (Philippians 2:14-16).<\/p>\n It isn’t about feelings. It is about what you know and believe. Based on your knowledge, you will have feelings as a result, but the feelings don’t prove that what you are doing is right. “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely will be delivered<\/em>” (Proverbs 28:26).<\/p>\n Becoming a Christian is based on faith and faith is created by listening to God’s teachings. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ<\/em>” (Romans 10:17).
