When brethren choose to attend secular classes or because of their secular studies schedule are unable to attend Bible study on evenings, do you think it’s fair to them to say that secular studies are more important?<\/p>\n\t
The secular world is always less important than the spiritual world. “The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever<\/em>” (I John 2:17). More times than not a person has options that allow him both to attend Bible studies and get his secular education. These options are ignored because they may not be as convenient and that is a shame.<\/p>\n I don’t know what any particular individual is facing. There are times when events happen and the options are limited. A military person might not be given the option of time off to attend a Bible study. A teacher might decide to schedule a critical test at the same time as a Bible study and refuse to consider alternatives. Without knowing all that went into a person’s decision, I cannot tell you whether a particular choice was the best or not. All I can say is that those who are weak in faith tend to find reasons not to attend when they could have with just a small amount of effort.
