My boyfriend and I have been trying to have a child. Every month I worry about being pregnant. A few days back he told me his ex-girlfriend came over and he slept with her out of pity. Now she’s pregnant. I am devastated right now because the one thing I wanted another got it, and the guy I love and saw as the father of my children hurt me. He wants me to stay. He says he doesn’t want me to go. He wants to sort out everything before asking me to marry him. But his family says it’s tradition to marry a girl who gets pregnant.<\/p>\n
I don’t know what to do. I am just devastated, and I need help.<\/p>\n\t

So let’s start at the foundation. Neither you, your boyfriend, or his family has any respect for the teachings of God. I’ve come to that conclusion because God said, “Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge<\/em>” (Hebrews 13:4). However, all of you treat fornication (having sex with someone you are not married to) as not only normal but encouraged as a way to determine which woman a man is to marry. It is a mockery of righteousness.<\/p>\n The fact is that you and your boyfriend are having sex without any lasting commitment. It isn’t surprising that he treats sex casually and has sex with any woman that will let him.<\/p>\n If you are interested in godly living, you need to understand that your boyfriend may not agree. He is likely to pick easy sex over righteousness.<\/p>\n The first thing to do is move out of his house until such time as he marries you.
