Regarding witchcraft: Unless you have lived the person’s life walked the same miles as they walked can you be certain of your responses, a mile in your own shoes does not describe how they feel and what they are going through. I have been impacted for 46 years by my own mother. I have read from Genesis to Revelation. I have cried many a tear to God to high blood pressure and fasted myself into an ulcer to remove the marks off of me. Your god is still snoring to all my request. The situation is bad enough to put one in a mental institution. What gives? So put your Mark, Isaiah, Colossians, Psalms, and Corinthians under your pillow and shut up.<\/p>\n\t
“You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures<\/em>” (James 4:3).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Why do you accuse God, of which there is only\u00a0one<\/strong>, of not answering your prayers? Because He has not immediately answered them? Or He has not answered them according to your own desires? You fail to take into account that God does not answer prayers according to man’s timetable. I do not know exactly what you are praying for, but God will not hear your plea if you practice witchcraft or any other sin: “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear<\/em>” (Psalm 66:18). God is not some magical vending machine that is obligated to answer any person’s prayers just because he prayed. God promises to the faithful to answer their prayers, but there is no such promise to those who sin before God. Prayers are not an incantation that binds God to your will.<\/p>\n
There is no power in witchcraft, only deception:\u00a0“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness<\/em>” (II Thessalonians 2:9-12).<\/p>\n
If you have indeed read the Bible from front to back as you claimed, how could you have forgotten or ignored Revelation 21:8 about witchcraft? “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death<\/em>” (Revelation 21:8).<\/p>\n
Your statement is vague in regards to what your mother is doing or what she has done to you in the past. However, you are an adult and do not have to answer to her any longer. You do have control over that.<\/p>\n
Satan has got you right where he wants you by you believing that God is “asleep” and not paying attention to you; hence, your fascination with witchcraft. What you don’t seem, or want, to realize is that God has been watching your every move, knows your every thought, motives and every word that has proceeded out of your mouth during your entire life. “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows<\/em>” (Luke 12:7).<\/p>\n
A good start for you is to be grateful and thankful to God for what you do have and for the discipline He gives you. You may not be wealthy, but you do have a roof over your head, clothes, food and you are still alive. Perhaps showing some gratitude will help.<\/p>\n
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him<\/em>” (Colossians 3:17).<\/p>\n
“The Lord has disciplined me severely, but He has not given me over to death. Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to the Lord<\/em>” (Psalms 118:18-19).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
You may be going through a difficult time right now, but worrying will not solve a thing.<\/p>\n
“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved<\/em>” (Psalms 55:22).<\/p>\n
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus<\/em>” (Philippians 4:6-7).<\/p>\n
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you<\/em>” (I Peter 5:6-7).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
