Our ladies’ Bible class is doing a study of the Bible called the Essence of Time in which we look at the Old Testament in 12 segments like a clock face to try and get a timeline of people, places, and events in the Old Testament. We are at 3 o’clock – the Patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I am teaching (or really facilitating this study) and in preparing a parallel handout for tomorrow on Jacob and Esau needed more information. I do a lot of web research, but I have to look closely at the source and it was wonderful to find a conservative church of Christ site. I wanted to run a parallel on their lives with a center column with comments and lessons for today. The information you have published is very helpful.
