I have recent health issues that are covered by Medicaid but I will lose my benefits and the children’s benefits when we marry. Is legal marriage the only option?\n\t

What you are saying is that you would rather continue in sin than get married as God requires (I Corinthians 6:9-10) and obey the laws of the government (Romans 13:1-7) because this will apparently save you some money.<\/p>\n
Current rules say that health insurance companies must accept people regardless of their pre-existing conditions. If your spouse has health insurance then often you and the children can be added under his plan. Another choice is that you can apply under the Affordable Health Care act for reduced insurance premiums.
