It is interesting, to say the least, when men who preach “love is the way” are forced to explain the clear language of Scripture calling for strong rebuke and potential “rejection” of false teachers – how “strong” they then talk – but by every observable standard it is all “talk”! Such men have a history of compromise with innovators and unscriptural church activities. There is nothing in their record to comfort us when Scripture is at stake. Then, they “love” the errorists too much to openly rebuke them, or insist on a return to truth. Instead, they show an extreme lack<\/strong> of love for the victims of such spiritual damage – it is “love the false teacher,” but his victims, well, it is just their “hard luck;” let us sacrifice them on the altar of “longsuffering” to show our tolerance of the “mistakes” of men who are “so sincere” in their teaching! And then, on top of that, they whine because people lose confidence in their commitment to what the true church should be.<\/p>\n
