I have a problem. I was born a Christian. My boyfriend is a Muslim. we&#8217;ve dated for almost 4 years now. We are at the level that we should get married now. My parents don&#8217;t like him and they wanted us to break up. And his parents stated clearly that there is no other way for us to get married unless I am willing to convert to their religion. What should I do? I love him so much until at some point I am willing to follow his religion so we can get married, but I don&#8217;t want to hurt my parents&#8217; feelings. It feels like I have to choose between my parents and my boyfriend.<\/p>\n<p>What should I do?<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<p>No one is born a Christian. You might have been born to Christian parents, but one chooses to become a Christian.<\/p>\n<p>What I find sad is that there is not a trace of belief in God. You appear to treat religion as a club. It really doesn&#8217;t matter if you please your parents or your boyfriend because unless you please your Creator, the moments in this world won&#8217;t matter. &#8220;<em>He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him&#8211;the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day<\/em>&#8221; (John 12:48).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
