When you are in public and someone is present who isn’t properly dressed, you have full control over your eyes — don’t look. “I have made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I look upon a young woman?<\/em>” (Job 31:1). You can’t control others, but you can control yourself.<\/p>\n The prevalence of people involved in sin and immodest behavior does not define what is right or acceptable. In fact, we are told that what most people do leads them to hell. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
