I am responding to your slander against other churches. It is pretty sad that you talk about things you don’t really have all the answers to. Some of the things you talk about I do agree with, but other things you need to get the facts because your facts are wrong. Here is what I will say: “We are all a part of the body of Christ. I do not care what church you belong to we are all supposed to be family, but slandering one another does not glorify God.” It is very disturbing to see you judging other churches, especially when you don’t have all the answers. Another thing every church has its own rules and beliefs, even your church. Denominational pride<\/strong>! That is where all are falling short. I don’t care what church you belong to, I love you and we are still family. Every church I have been involved with has rules and beliefs I don’t agree with. I know my Lord and Savior. Again there are some things I agree with you on, and other things I don’t. I hope this will not be looked at as negative but constructive criticism. We are all family. Those denominational walls need to come down.<\/p>\n\t

You say the denominational walls need to come down while simultaneously arguing that everyone should believe as they wish and remain separate. Ignoring division doesn’t make it go away.<\/p>\n

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ<\/em>” (Galatians 1:6-10).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The defense against slander is truth. Since I back up my answers with the Bible (John 17:17), your charge of slander remains empty. Worse, you have no content, only assertions. You did not document what I supposedly got wrong, nor did you document the correct answer from God’s word. It is hard to take your claims seriously when you don’t do your homework.<\/p>\n\t

Unfortunately, it seems we will never agree, and I do do my homework. I do not talk bad about any church. My whole point brother was that we need to be in prayer for one another and not to be judging how others worship. Like I said before, I do agree with you in some areas, but we are not the ones to pass judgment, God is. I do belong to a Wesleyan church and have been for years. Some of the things you wrote about<\/a> are not true, and I do know what I am talking about. Forgive me if I came off the wrong way was not my intention at all. I travel around the United States and visit many different churches and don’t always agree with their beliefs, I believe we are all family and that man has put himself in front of God in the church. I do apologize that I did not make it clear, I someday would just love to see unity within the body but probably will never happen. I go to church to worship God not men or a building or even their beliefs, every church has its own standards, who am I to judge.<\/p>\n\t

I documented from mostly Wesleyan sources what the denomination teaches on several subjects. That you disagree with the analysis comparing those teachings against the Bible, I can understand, but it doesn’t mean I misrepresented what this denomination believes.<\/p>\n
