I am concerned with the way our church serves communion.\u00a0 The elders decided to no longer place the communion plate on the table that says in Remembrance of Me and will pass it from the back of the church. First, they pass the contribution basket and then the wine and bread.\u00a0 It bothers me and others because you can’t see it, and you don’t know when it is coming.\u00a0 Is it OK to do it this way?\u00a0 I like the old way better where I can see it and can concentrate better on the reason we are taking it.<\/p>\n\t
There is nothing in the Scriptures about the way the Lord’s Supper is to be passed. Right and wrong are based on what God said, not what you are used to doing.
