I hope you are doing fine. I am only 19. I’m married, my husband is 20. Neither of us has done anything really really bad in our lives, but yet we are suffering like we are the worse people on earth. Of course, we have sinned, but this is just ridiculous. I have been a Christian since the day I was born, and my family has been Christians since they were small. We are a Christian family. I have been through a lot in my lifetime and my husband has also. Many people are very against us being together, but we love each other so much we were baptized together. I know we are together for a reason, and I know God is the only one who is for us, but it seems like everyone around us is getting blessed, and we just keep suffering and things are just getting harder on us. I believe God is going to bless me, but with times like what I am going through now, I get very depressed and do not know what to do. Please help me understand. My life has been terrible for three years now. It is just getting worse. The only thing I have to be thankful for is my husband. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.<\/p>\n\t
It is difficult to give advice when all I’m told is vague things. Hard times happen to all people at different points in their lives. The presence of hardships has nothing to do with whether a person is righteous or not (Job is the classic example). The lack of hardship is not an indication of being righteous (Psalms 73).<\/p>\n
More often, if things are consistently going wrong, a person should examine whether what he is doing is correct. For example, financial hardships often come because a person took on debt or is spending more than he makes.<\/p>\n
