The only reason given that allows for remarriage after a divorce is when the reason for that divorce is because the other person is committing sexual sins with another person (Matthew 19:9). There ought to be reconciliation, and it is sad to hear that someone refuses to forgive another for the sins committed. However, Matthew 19:9 is for cases where a spouse won’t give up their sexual sins with another person.
