For example several states away a congregation&#8217;s building gets destroyed by a hurricane along with several members homes. Because of the devastation, they have no access to building supply stores and the like. They are not just in need of monetary assistance but living assistance as well, lumber, appliances etc. to rebuild. Scripturally how can a congregation assist?<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<p>See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavistachurchofchrist.org\/cms\/the-church-at-work-in-benevolence\/\">The Church at Work in Benevolence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In times of disaster, congregations can independently send funds or other aid to Christians in a disaster area.
