The President invited a man to give a benediction at his inauguration, but when it was discovered that the man had stated in lessons back in the 1990s that homosexuality was contrary to the teachings of Christianity, which is true (I Corinthians 6:9-10), well, there is no tolerance for someone who supports a biblical view of sex.<\/p>\n

Louie Giglio had stated, “You come to only one conclusion: Homosexuality is less than God’s best for His creation, it is less than God’s best for us, and everything in our lives that is less than God’s best for us and His plan for us and His design for us is sin.”<\/p>\n

While officially it is stated that Giglio withdrew to avoid causing controversy for President Obama, it is clear that was the President’s staff who wanted him to step down. “We were not aware of Pastor Giglio’s past comments at the time of his selection, and they don’t reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this Inaugural,” said spokeswoman Addie Whisenant.<\/p>\n

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
