I have a question that I hope you can answer for me. After midweek Bible class everyone gathers and we sing songs, offer up prayers, a short sermon is given, and an invitation is extended. Is this worship? I know it is not the worship that is commanded on the first day of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you in advance for any information you are able to give.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n\n<p>Worship can take place by an individual or by the church and worship, in general, is not restricted to any particular day of the week. There is a requirement to worship God on the first day of the week and that particular worship includes the Lord&#8217;s Supper and giving, but this doesn&#8217;t mean that other aspects of worship can&#8217;t be done at other times.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question: Dear Brother, I am a member of the Body of Christ.
