It said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8216;The fundamental nature of God is love. We are very quick to impress upon one another that what God has joined together nobody may separate. However, when Adam and Eve sinned God Himself slaughtered a goat and used its skin to cover their nakedness. Throughout the Word we are amazed by the evidence of God&#8217;s grace.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I do have a problem with this sentence saying: &#8220;God Himself slaughtered a goat and used its skin to cover their nakedness.&#8221;\u00a0Am I wrong in saying that this is incorrect? I know about the fig leaves.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll really appreciate it if someone can answer me, please.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Answer:<\/h2>\n<p>After pronouncing the consequences for Adam and Eve&#8217;s sin, we read:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them<\/em>&#8221; (Genesis 3:21).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The word &#8220;garments&#8221; translates a Hebrew word referring to a tunic &#8212; a long shirt that reaches the knees.
