Can you break the covenant with Satan and turn back to God?

Does God ever lose hope in someone and cut them off completely? Does God love all of mankind, even the worst of people, and would He accept everybody who changes and does His will into His Kingdom? Would God refuse someone?

Also, what happened when Jesus died on the cross? I never really understood what happened. He bound Satan or something, but I thought he went to Paradise.

What kind of power does Satan have over the souls of people? Is there anything that God cannot forgive us for, even a covenant made with Satan or blood sacrifices to him? (Satanic practices and stuff.) No loopholes or anything, God is able to forgive everything?

What is the definition of sin? You hear it all the time, but I’m not exactly sure what sin is or what is considered a sin. Is all sin essentially the same just with different earthly consequences?

My last question is I know there are many conspiracies out there and you cannot believe everything you hear, but the only one in the whole universe and heavens who has power is God Himself? No man or woman can have powers in this day in age correct, only God? Can Satan give people powers? Apparently, some celebrities sacrificed stuff or their souls to Satan to get famous, is that true? Can they be forgiven of that?

I’m sorry for all of these questions, they have been on my mind.

Answer:

Covenants are vows sworn before God with witnesses and records are made that the vows were made. God would not acknowledge any covenant made to do evil.

Any sin puts a person into Satan’s dominion. “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest” (Ephesians 2:1-3). It never requires a vow. It is simply what happens when we sin.

It is because we were in the bondage of sin that Jesus died in order to free us from that slavery. “Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness” (Romans 6:16-18). Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, it is always possible to leave sin and return to God.

Satan’s greatest weapon was death and our fear of it. Death appeared to be permanent until Jesus came. “Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives” (Hebrews 2:14-15). Jesus’ resurrection destroyed the idea that death was permanent. He also gave us a way out of sin, so sin’s chains do not need to be permanent either.

The only person God rejects is the person who refuses to leave sin. That is because you cannot serve two masters. You have to make a choice.

The binding of Satan was in regards to Satan deceiving and controlling the nations. “And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time” (Revelation 20:2-3). This took place when the Roman Empire collapsed.

Sin is simply the breaking of God’s laws. “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness” (I John 3:4).

Satan deceives. Thus, he gives the appearance that he can do miraculous things, but it isn’t true. “That is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved” (II Thessalonians 2:9-10). Only God has the power to do true miracles, do making something from nothing, or to cause things to happen that are against the natural laws He set in place, “even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist” (Romans 4:17).

For a time, God granted some of His people the power to do miraculous things, but this was for the purpose of confirming His teachings (Hebrews 2:3-4) and those miraculous gifts came to an end when the Bible was completed (I Corinthians 13:8-10). At times the followers of Satan might appear to do wonders, but the wonders are merely tricks and deceptions.

Question: Hello sir, I have quite a few questions if that’s alright.
