I was recently in a relationship with a woman who is married. We never had sex, or at least what I consider to be sex. All we did was masturbate together. Have I committed adultery?<\/p>\n
I have another question as well: I have a daughter. I am 17 but the father is a man in his late twenties, maybe. He has a thing for young girls, but he is a good person. I think that that is just a struggle of his. Do you think my decision to keep him away from my daughter is a good one?<\/p>\n\t
If there was mutual touching involved, then you were involved in homosexuality (Romans 1:26). Since one person was married, it is also adultery. If there was no touching involved, then you were involved in lewd behavior (Romans 13:13-14). However you slice this event, you were involved in sin.<\/p>\n
Doesn’t it sound foolish to you to put a child in danger because you refuse to directly say that someone sins by sexually assaulting young girls? What gives you the right to say a child molester is a “good person?” It sounds like those articles in the newspaper: “Sure, I know he gunned down 16 people yesterday, but he is really a good kid and really loved his family when he wasn’t stoned.” “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment<\/em>” (John 7:24).<\/p>\n It was wrong for you to have been having sex with a man you are not married to. That is the past, but don’t continue to sin by neglecting your duty as a mother to protect your child from danger.<\/p>\n\t OK! Thank you for your honesty. I do agree with you.
