They, like most of the items in the temple, have disappeared. We know what the lampstand roughly looked like because there is an image of it carved into the Arch of Titus. This arch celebrated the destruction of Jerusalem by Rome in A.D. 70.<\/p>\n<p>All that exists today are artists&#8217; renderings of their concept of what the tablets of stone containing the Ten Commandments looked like.
