In Israel, left-handedness was rare enough that it received mention at times. Ehud was left-handed (Judges 3:15). This allowed Ehud to smuggle in a sword to assassinate King Eglon by strapping the sword to his right thigh (the guards only thought to check his left side). The tribe of Benjamin had an elite troop of 700 left-handed men who were renown for their accuracy with the sling (Judges 20:15-16). However, such a unique feature is not mentioned in connection with the priests or the tribe of Levite.
