I notice that members of the churches of Christ, who have been divorced and remarried, say they have a biblical divorce caused by fornication, no questions asked, but you all judge others in different churches as having an unbiblical divorce and marriage. I know there is no double standard here and I know of none in all the congregations I have visited. We don’t treat people inside the church differently from those who are not members. There is only one rule: “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery<\/em>” (Matthew 19:9).
