I really would like to know why God doesn’t want us to have sex before marriage. What is His reason? It doesn’t make sense to me. It’s free will. We can all do whatever we want and sex is pleasurable. But what are his reasons? I don’t have the money to get married. It’s way too much money, and I don’t want to wait until marriage.<\/p>\n\t

Free will does not equal freedom to sin. “What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?<\/em>” (Romans 6:1-2). You can choose to sin, but you are also choosing the consequences of sin, which is suffering in this life and eternity in hell.<\/p>\n Since it typically costs less than $100 to get married, your argument that you can’t afford it is false.<\/p>\n\t So what are you saying then? What would happen to me if I have sex before marriage? I have a man whom I love very much, and he wants to badly have sex. I’ve planned out all the precautions too, like condoms. My opinion is we shouldn’t have to wait for something that good. Really.<\/p>\n\t “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God<\/em>” (I Corinthians 6:9-10).<\/p>\n “But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion<\/em>” (I Corinthians 7:8-9).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n All your excuses to sin don’t make fornication less of a sin. Love doesn’t excuse sin. Avoiding pregnancy doesn’t excuse sin. Your opinion is absolutely worthless because you don’t define what is right and wrong.<\/p>\n Nothing is stopping you from getting married. You just want to have sex without being committed to this man. You started out asking why God said not until marriage, yet despite all the evidence that God is right and your understanding that this is what God commands, you are willing to break God’s law simply because you want to.
