A guy proposed love to a lady and the lady accepted but she said no sex unless the guy became a Christian. The guy also said if only the lady allowed him sex he will give his life to Christ. The lady gave him a chance to have his way with her from that time he became a Christian and he is now a preacher. Question one, did she win his soul for Christ? (2) did she sin? (3) should we sin to win souls for Christ? Please I need clarification on this with the Bible passages.<\/p>\nThank you.\n\t
I am having difficulty with the question because vague terms are being used, so I’m guessing what actually happened.<\/p>\n
What I gather is that a man asked to date a woman. She agreed but refused to have sex with him unless he became a Christian. He refused to become a Christian unless she had sex with him. She gave in and he became a Christian and now claims to be a preacher. Marriage was not mentioned and you said they sinned, so I assume they did not marry before having sex.<\/p>\n
“But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep<\/em>” (II Peter 2:1-3).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The rest of II Peter 2 emphasizes this corruption of Christianity through the use of sensuality. You cannot get good from evil. “And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), ‘Let us do evil that good may come’? Their condemnation is just<\/em>” (Romans 3:8). The woman used fornication as a bribe to get a man to claim to be a Christian. No one becomes spiritual by following the ways of the world. You cannot commit fornication and be a part of Christ’s kingdom (I Corinthians 6:9-10).<\/p>\n
It reminds me of the letter to Thyatira. “But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality. Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds<\/em>” (Revelation 3:19-23).<\/p>\n
