I have been living with my boyfriend for several years and we have been together a few years more. Last year I made the terrible mistake of cheating on him because we were having many problems in our relationship. Now we are back together working on our relationship and things are going much better. I tell myself every day: “How could I have made that dumb decision to do that?” I also was under the influence of alcohol when I committed the sin. I love my boyfriend so much and realize what a mistake I had done and know that from this point on, even when we both make a vow to God to be married, that I will never do anything like this as long as we both shall be together. I just need to know if I am forgiven? And if I should tell him knowing what the consequences might be. I am\u00a0Christian\u00a0by the way.<\/p>\n\t
A Christian follows Christ. You might call yourself a Christian, but you certainly are not following the Lord. Acting as you have been, you are giving the Lord and all true Christians a bad name. Face the facts:<\/p>\n
It is sad that while committing sexual sins with one man you are worried about the fact that you committed sexual sins with another man. “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles — when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.
