I am a brother in Christ, have been for over thirty years, it hasn’t been easy. Now I am divorced after having an affair. I still love the woman I had the affair with and she truly loves me. I believe because of my martial unfaithfulness my wife is free of me and can remarry if she so desires to. As for me, what are my options, as the spirit moves you, or what?<\/p>\n\t
“And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery<\/em>” (Matthew 19:9).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
You gave up your right to marriage because of your adultery. Your only choices are to live as a single man or be reconciled to your former wife. It is unfortunate that you have not repented of your sins, since you claim that you “love” the woman with whom you committed adultery.<\/p>\n
