I am truly struggling with this. I was married for 21 years now divorced due to infidelity and a horrific divorce. My ex is now with the women he committed adultery with. He continues to come around my family as well as our friends bragging about how God is now blessing him. It seems like such a slap in my face, it’s almost like, look what God is doing for me after I left my wife and children, committed adulty and still with the women I cheated with. How can I subside my pain from hearing how well he is doing and how he says God is blessing him. Like I was a piece of trash and he deserves to be so blessed after treating me so horrible and cheating on me? On the other hand, I say to myself, who am I to stop him from professing his blessing. Although to me, it seems to be more about him, than God.<\/p>\n\t

Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awakes, so, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image.<\/em><\/p>\n
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was vexed in my mind. I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.<\/em><\/p>\n
For indeed, those who are far from You shall perish; You have destroyed all those who desert You for harlotry.
