For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables<\/em>” (II Timothy 4:1-4).<\/p>\nBecause you had no answer to why your religion does not teach and practice as God directs, you claim that it is somehow wrong to tell others that a particular religion is wrong. If such were true, how did the early church convict idolaters to leave their religion? Why are we commanded to stand against false teachings? “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world<\/em>” (I John 4:1). And why did our own Lord not consider the feelings of his Jewish brethren when he took them to task (Matthew 23:1ff)?<\/p>\nMy job isn’t to make you happy with the way you are.
