Can God forgive me for my past sins of fornication? Can I meet a godly man to marry regardless of my past sins?<\/p>\n\t

Answer:<\/h2>\n

Why do you think your own personal sins are so special or severe that the Almighty God is unable to forgive you? God is able to forgive all sins that are repented of by His children (I John 1:9; II Peter 3:9). Yes, you can marry a godly man if you don’t settle for a wicked man instead.<\/p>\n\t

Question:<\/h2>\n

Thank you very much man of God. I’ve been praying for forgiveness, but I couldn’t accept it from God. I had a psychological battle in me of not having a high sense of worth to find it simple to receive forgiveness into the depth.<\/p>\n\t

Answer:<\/h2>\n

“But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways<\/em>” (James 1:6-8).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You claim you are asking God for forgiveness, but you won’t accept forgiveness from God. I must either conclude that you don’t really want to be forgiven because you prefer pretending to be a victim or you think that you are greater than God and can tell God what He can or cannot do. In either case, you don’t see forgiveness as a gift from God. You have no appreciation for Christ’s efforts to give forgiveness by dying on your behalf.<\/p>\n

It is God who kindly offers salvation. No one can demand forgiveness. You either meet the conditions that God has placed on His gift or you don’t. If you are not a child of God, you do what is needed to become a Christian (How to Become a Christian<\/a>). If you are a Christian, you change your behavior to stop sinning and the attitude that allowed you to accept sin your life (II Corinthians 7:10-11) and you pray to God admitting that you have sinned (II John 1:5-2:1).
